HSSE YELLOW RING Machine taps
The VÖLKEL HSSE yellow ring machine taps are the specialists for aluminium and aluminium alloys. The two flutes and 40° spiral ensure better chip removal, thereby reducing the risk of tap breakage.
Recommended application:
- Aluminium, unalloyed
- Aluminium alloys Si < 0.5%
- Magnesium, unalloyed
⚠️ When thread cutting in aluminium, it is recommended to use petroleum as a coolant-lubricant. Alternatively, special thread cutting oils for non-ferrous metals or emulsion can also be used. Do you need application examples?
