HSS-G Hand taps for non abrasive material up to 900 N/mm². The taps made of HSS-E are suitable for abrasive steels up to 1200 N/mm² and the steam tempered hand taps are particularly suited to wear resistant steels up to 1400 N/mm² tensile strength.
