The HexDrive machine taps with a 1/4" hex drive can be used in all standard tool holders with a 1/4" bit socket. The hex drive ensures quick tool changes and prevents the tap from slipping in the tool holder.
- HexDrive tap Form B = for through holes
- HexDrive tap Form C with 15° right-hand helix = for blind holes
The HexDrive HSSE taps are particularly suitable for easily machinable materials with a tensile strength of up to 900 N/mm², as well as for tapping unalloyed and low-alloy steels. An ideal tool for assembly and servicing, and whenever you need to tap quality threads quickly.
