The GO thread ring gauge must be possible to manually screw into the entire thread of the part (without using excessive force). If unable to do so, the thread does not meet the requested standards (=scrap).
The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20° Celsius.
As a manufacturer, VÖLKEL will issue a factory calibration certificate upon request (price on request). Calibrated at a measurement laboratory separate from VÖLKEL to specifications and standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) specified for the respective specimen. Calibrated using IAC thread scanners.
